Welcome to Handmade for the Holiday.
I hope that all the "Croton-on-the-Hudson Lovers" will find a gift here for their family and friends who love our village nestled between the Croton and Hudson rivers.
If you are looking for unique local gifts please take time to look at the collection of card sets that I have designed, printed and packaged. There are 3 sets that show the beauty of our location, The Seasons, Recreation and Artist's Palette. Any one could make a great gift and the favorite could be kept and framed. All are printed on matte paper and come protected in film and boxed. For the holidays I offer all items to be wrapped. Each set of 10 different cards is $40. Other sets include Croton Point Park nature and history. There is a poster/quiz of Cortlandt. There are brightly colored animal story cards for children from long ago. Keep checking and you will see more or talk to me!
Inspired and helped by Josie, working together, we can create a unique custom light-box just for you! We will bring your idea to life. By day you can see the layers of hand cut paper and by a flick of a switch at night the design will glow. These take time but you can ask for any subject you would love and we will work with you. A friend thought the sea horses would be lovely in her little daughters bedroom.
My new company name is 'Confluence croton-on-the-hudson'. Please enjoy the light-boxes, card sets, 2021 Croton Calendar and Illustrations and please feel free to talk to me about any item that interests you.
I consider myself to be very lucky to have raised my two children here and wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season.
